I have been using this camera to shoot and now I am watching my footage through it on a TV. Everytime I take a tape out and then put it back in the camera resets the timecode to zero on the LCD screen. This makes it very hard to transcribe. Why is it doing this and what can I do to make the timecode stay the same?
    Thanks!

Go into the menus and change the settings from REGEN to TC PRESET. That way timecode will continue forward from one tape to the next; wherever you last left off, that’s where the next shot will begin.

You may want to manually go in and reset the timecode at the beginning of each tape, to something like 01:00:00:00, and 02:00:00:00, etc. You don’t have to, but you may want to.

Get the most from your DVX camera. The DVX Book and DVX DVD are now available on ebay and at Amazon (https://www.fiftv.com/db)
