  capture settings for 24p advanced footage

  I can’t seem to find any posts on the settings to use to capture 24p advanced footage through final cut. Can anyone forward me in the right direction?

  are there any settings i have to change in avid to capture the 24P advanced? or just create at new 23.97 project and capture the footage like normal?

  Umm- no. Not an Avid guy and it depends which Avid you have. I’d suggest mucho research…

  Hi Noah,

  What if you capture 24PA footage in 24P settings on FCP… or vice versa.. probelm?
  And what about sequences. does a 24pa clip need to be rendered to be watched in a 24p sequence (time line) or vice versa?

  ?

  How can you tell what mode the footage was shot in?
