  timecode in viewer

  I have footage shot at 24pa. After capturing using FCP5 (advanced pulldown easy setup), I am now viewing the footage in the viewer. When I watch the timecode window in the viewer, the timecode skips frames. Not sure if it’s random or not. It also counts all the way up to 30 frames, not 24. However, if I bring it down to a 24 frame timeline, everything works fine.

  Can anyone tell me if the timecode skipping in the viewer is normal?
