No Rebate Tapes and Battery
I purchased my DVX100A on May 10th and submitted a rebate request the following day. I received the $300 rebate promptly, but it is now approaching 15 weeks and I have not received the tapes and batteries. I can’t seem to find any method to contact Panasonic regarding the rebate program. Has anyone had a similar experience or can someone point me in a direction to resolve this issue?

On the Panasonic website I saw a place to contact them in the section where they were offering the rebate.
Maybe you already tried this?
I think it’s just Panasonic.com or you can get there through the AD here on the cow last I checked.

Hi,
First let me apologize for the delay, I should have known better that to plan a promotion around a new product, the AMQ tape. Between that tape having an initial heavy backorder and the batteries having a huge Government order placed against those(this takes priority even against older back orders)the program has been crippled with delivery problems. Based on the age of your filing you should expect the tape and batteries by the end of this month or early September.
Again I am sorry that this has happened.

Jan, does this mean ALL rebates will be satisfied by the end of August/Early September, or just those from earlier this summer/spring?
I filled out my rebate on-line about three weeks ago. Should I expect the batteries/tapes in the timeframe you outlined, or later?

Oh, BTW, I LOVE my DVX100A. Very cool product.
