  Shotgun Microphone choice

  Debating a Sennheiser ME-66/K6 vs an Audio Technica AT-897 for my new 100A.

  Any advice appreciated.

  Also, will I need an adapter to connect it to the XLR?
  Will either need an additional mount? Additional power supply?

  mmh the dvx has xlr inputs and also supports phantom power to your mic… they may need a different mount. As you noticed your dvx did come with one but the mic that you purchase may or may not fit perfectly into it.
