There are some glitches in the present $1000 rebate offer from Panasonic for the DVX 100A.
Some dealers (B and H for one) apparently don’t have packages that indlude the software and book part of the
rebate. B and H has referred me to Jan Crittenden at Panasonic but I haven’t been able to get an e-mail address for her.

If any of you have it that would be great.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

If B & H is selling product that they bought from us, the box has software in it and the DVX Book. They have over in their used division some gray market cameras. They may have some older boxes that only have the Magic Bullet and if you get one of those then all you would need to do is fax me a copy of the invoice with your serial number and I would send you a DVX-Book.

My email address is crittendenj@us.panaosnic.com. I would like the name of the person at B & H that you spoke with as this is the second time today I have heard this silly story.

    Thanks,

    Jan

Not exactly; they’re offering a bundle of bonuses that adds up to $1,000 of value. Part of that bundle is a $300 cash rebate.

    Hi,

It is a $300 Rebate. There is included the Barry Green DVX Book and DVD, a $69.95 Value, the Magic Bullet Editors, a $295 Value, 10 free AMQ Tapes, a $240 Value and a 5400 mA Battery, a $189 Value. Add those items up and it is more than $1000 in added value, to one of the nicest little camcorders going. Only available in the US on US products, no gray market products will qualify.

    Hope that helps,

    Jan
