    Hello,

I’m a VX-2000 owner getting ready to get a AG-DVX 100A. A little research on the internet and I find the retail price all over the globe. From, say, 3,500. to 1,700. Some are the ‘AG-DVX100A-MB at 2,900. But I really don’t want Magic Bullet right now. Others are, like, 1,699. All the specks look the same. The cameras seem to be identical. I really don’t want to just go with the lowest price at a dealer that maybe hard to deal with (been there, did that–Abe’s of Maine years ago with the VX-1000)

    usaphotonation.com $1,689., royalcamera.com $1,779., beachcamera.com $2,895. (after $300. rebate and w/MB), dvprojector.com $3,499.79 (w/MB)

What price range have you users been paying, if I may be so bold to ask? Is there a favorite dealer for you AG-DVX100A fans?

    thanks, Richard

Any price below $3,200 or so is a scam- bottom line. If you are looking for reasons why please read through the forum archives.

    Hello Noah,

I did research the tread in this forum. I guess I’m not that good at it, I didn’t find that much information. It’s hard for me to believe (I guess I’m naive) that people could advertise a product for a certian price and then not deliever it. What’s with that? But thanks for the heads up.

    Cheers,

    Richard

    Noah,

I probably should’ve asked this before placing my order, but what might you consider a “good” and “fair” price for the the DVX100AMB (the package they are selling w/the rebate and accessories)from a FULL-service, authorized Panasonic dealer?

    Thanks,

    Tim

I don’t have the ability to provide all the research for you- googling or epinions.com will give you plenty of details. But as someone who’s been at this for almost a decade I can just say to take my word for it that you get what you pay for. And if you pay less than the going rate you’ll be getting a lot of runaround, cheesy pressure sales and wasted time rather than the gear you want.
