  • Inexpensive monitoring when shooting?

Any suggestions on a way to monitor what’s being shot through the DVX other than the on camera LCD? Perhaps a small television on a stand? How would this be hooked up? Through RCA or “S” video?

    Thank you,
    Michael

    Michael –

I now use DV Rack on a laptop. However, before buying this package, I used a portable DVD player hooked up via S-video. I do not even begin to pretend to know if this was an acceptable way of monitoring but it did, at least, let me see on a larger screen what my camera was seeing and it was a cheap way to monitor.
