  P2 Formatter not active

  HVX200E attached to mac with Firewire and adapter to Thunderbolt, Camera shows up on desktop and named “NO NAME”. I can access files in Finder, but would like to use Panasonic P2 Formatter. P2 formatter opens but entirely unactive. Any idea?
