  P2 transfer problem

  Hi,
  I have P2 native avcintra 50 footage on a lacie rugged, transfered from the original cards through the card reader. When I go to log and transfer in fcp 7 I can see the thumbnails fine but when I try to view the footage it will play for a moment then freeze (I can still hear the audio) then I get the spinning ball and have to force quit.

  Any ideas how to resolve this issue? save the footage?

  What about importing the clips? Can you do that?
  What hard drives are you clips playing off?

  They would not import. The editor managed to get the footage back onto the original cards and then transfer from the camera – -after running diagnostics – the camera showed E-70 which is something to do with the card having an error when formatted. So we have footage that has usable moments but is essentially very damaged.
