  HVX200 Focus Assist

  Hi everyone. I’m setting up for a shoot, and for some reason, when I push the focus assist button, nothing happens. I really hope it’s just some simple thing like oh, do you have such and such option selected in the menu? I really hope it’s not something I need to send the camera in for… any thoughts?

  Are you shooting an HD format? The focus assist doesn’t work with SD formats.

  Bingo. That’s it. I Usually shoot in HD – except yesterday. That was SD. Thanks for helping sleep better tonight, lol…
