  P2CMS not supported on this system

  I’m running an old mac laptop powerbook in the field:

  OS 10.4.11
  QT 7.6.4

  It has a built in p2 slot so it’s perfect for offloading P2 media cards in the field to a drive. When I try to check the clips with P2CMS however, I get the error message: P2cms cannot be launched … not supported on this system. What gives? I updated all my software and drivers and downloaded the exact match from Panasonic. I’m surely missing something…??!! Right?

  Your operating system is vey old. The current system is 10.7. I would run 10.6.8 if you can.

  no doubt it’s old … the p2cms software is supposed to support it though. While a newer OS would help, I’m trying to exhaust options with this OS before I spend money upgrading such an old laptop.
