  is HDSurvivalHandbook still current?

  I need to get a more thorough understanding of digital video. Is the HDSurvivalHandbook still current or is there a book with newer, more relevant info?

  I’ve been able to get by using default settings, but I’ve maxed that out. I need to understand basic things like frame rates, interlacing/progressive, how to shoot, process and display 24 fps etc, 29.97 fps drop/non-drop. 720p/720pn etc
