We have a client who is requesting something be shot in 1920×1080 HD. Is this what the P2 card records in 1080/60i? If not, is there some way to make it so?

The HVX-200 shoots DVCPRO HD…which is 1280×1080. Sorry, but it doesn’t shoot full raster 1080i, but ultra-thin raster (normal thin raster is 1440×1080).

The way to make that camera shoot that format is to get an AJA KiPro (or Atmos Ninja…but I recommend the KiPro) and connect it to the camera via Component.
