  Tracking Spots in Photo

  I have been taking Camera Shots of a remodel process from sort of the same angles. Some video, but alot of just Photos. In AE, is their a way I can take the photos, pick a track point (like a window, or the top of the roof) and make ever single picture track to that spot? So like it may have to zoom in to make it look decent?

  Maybe photoshop is a better tool, but I’m actually going to be doing an animation with this when I am done.

  Hi David –

  Since you source for AE’s animation is going to be a still, I would suggest that you do your work in Photoshop, creating your replacements for the “track points”, then export the PSD with everything as layers, import it as a Composition, then do your animation.

  Of course, if you have more elaborate plans for the animation, let us know, so we can rethink the suggestion. As you explained above, the zooming can be made to look better by doubling the size of your composition in Photoshop, so that the photos will hold up when zoomed in.
