  • P2 Clip Breakdown – How to get one clip rather than many?

Is there a way to get a single clip rather than several clips on my p2 Cards?
Even when I do not stop down, and record continuously, my footage is still broken up into several clips. Is there a way to avoid this?

I am not sure if it is a final cut Log and Transfer issue but that is what I am using to ingest the material.

(I am using Final Cut Pro 7.0.3)

    Which camera?
It’s the 4 GB limit that creates multi-clips.

However, cameras like the HPX370 have the option to “1 clip record” and it stitches it all together.

I have a HVX can it be done in there as well, I don’t have the manual with me, I’m on the road currently?
