I have hooked my HVX200 to my PC via USB and it connects fine (unlike fire wire) and I can see the icons of my footage if I go to “My Computer” under the HVX drive.

The problem is when I go to open the footage (icon) it doesn’t play. I have no clue on what other step to take as I have exhausted my brain.

Problem 2: how do you get both the P2 card slot lights to color up for PC?

Is the footage in either AVC intra codec, and do you have the codec loaded onto the PC?

ICON isn’t where the footage is stored. VIDEO and AUDIO are the folders that contain the media. But they are in MXF format, which really isn’t openable directly, not without special software. If you want to view the footage, download P2CMS from Panasonic.com/p2
