  P2 CMS & Windows 7

  Can a dear reader inform me…is the latest version of P2 CMS compatible with Windows 7 64bit? I am upgrading my AVID system and want to keep using the Panasonic software. I find it very useful.

  I believe that CMS is only for Macs, P2 Viewer is the PC version and is compatible with windows 7.

  Or at least if it’s not, please nobody tell my W7 computer, because it’s working fine now. 😉

  They do provide CMS for Windows, but for some reason it is only compatible with XP (uninstall P2 Viewer first, you must not have them both). After dropping Panasonic an email some months ago, this seems unlikely to change. P2 Viewer is enough for me anyway but I’m not sure what happens if I’ll need to get involved with extensive metadata etc.
