Just upgraded from avchd Panasonic to hvx-205ap. Have been shooting adult content for 3 years now and decided to upgrade avchd.
Question! What resolution should we be shooting in, 1080, 702, 24p, etc? Interested in good quality, small file size and ease of editing. We have a 16gb P2 card and usually only shoot 30-45 min at a time. All shooting is done indoors with lights. Thanks in advance for any help!

Does everything end up on web only?
If so, Shoot DV50 16×9 OR 720p_60, these would be your smaller sizes.
Go 1080i for best DVD quality.

Always back up your entire card structure on multiple drives.

We shoot mainly short clips 5-20 min in length for uploading and downloading. Ocassionally put together a clip collection on DVD for customers. Yes, we back up everything to multiple drives. Luckily we have only lost one clip out of hundreds.
    THANKS for the info!
    It IS greatly appreciated!
