  Firewire options?

  My laptop has no firewire, nor expansion slots (no express or any card slot other than SD). I do have a USB 3 and an eSATA.

  Can I use an Express to USB3 adapter and put an express firewire card into the slot and expect it to work??

  Are there other options for Firewire interfacing??

  My new laptop is fast but DV off of my HVX would be so much nicer with a Firewire interface!
