  HVX200 P2 card issue

  I have been shooting on my HVX200 for a few years now and have always been able to shoot roughly 40 minutes of footage at 720p24 onto my 16GB P2 cards until my shoot on Monday when my camera suddenly started telling me that I only had room for 17 minutes of footage regardless of my frame rate settings (24p, 30p, 60).

  I checked the cards on another camera and it read the correct number of minutes, so the issue doesn’t appear to be with the cards.

  I have tried changing my settings and reformatting the cards. I have tried resetting the camera to factory settings. No change, still reads 17 minutes. Any thoughts?

  You need to be in 24pN mode, not 24p to get 40 mins on a card.
