  Record from FCP to HPX-170

  I am having problems setting up my panasonic HPX-170 as record deck for FCP 6.0.5. I have shot and edited clips in FCP and need to record these files back on a P2 card using my HPX-170. When in MCR mode on my HPX-170, I cancel the thumbnails and all I see is Black. When using the Edit to Tape command in FCP 6.0.5, FCP has control over the camera. It will see what is on the camera, but the camera is not seeing FCP. If anyone could help please respond.

  You can Print to Video in DV mode and get audio and Video. For HD, you will get video and no audio.

  With Raylight or Premiere CS 4 or 5, you can write back to P2 card.
