  Firewire to Avid Adrenaline 2.2

  I just got an HPX 170. I will be moving to Final Cut in October. I’ve never used a Firewire before as I shoot on Digi-beta. What kind of Firewire cable would I use. How many pins?

  6-pin to 6-pin. Tapeless offload. If you have never dealt with tapeless before, you must watch this:

  P2 Workflow with FCP 6

  Forget the second part about FCP….but watch the first part. Backup the entire card contents…
