  Pinnacle Dazzle Video Creator Plus HD instead of Firewire out

  Dear all, I’m using my AJ-SPX900 Panasonic P2 camcorder for hard news shoots in combination with a BGAN (Inmarsat) unit. File transfer is no problem (USB out) but I need to shoot streaming video (live stand ups) too and unfortunately my camera did not come with an SDI or Firewire out. This slot is actually in backorder to Japan and apparently hard to get.

  Could this device by Pinnacle bring a solution?

  Run as fast as you can away from this product. This is a consumer based product for consumer cameras.

  I’d try and find a busted SDX900 and pilfer the board you need.

  Didn’t they all come with firewire? That seems odd. SDI was an option, but I thought firewire was standard.

  I bought my unit in the UK and yes, it did came without the Firewire nor SDI output. I keep looking for a solution.

  Just bought an interface board called AJ-YAD800MC. Now running a Firewire out on my camera and having no problems with the bgan unit.
