I’ve been shooting a project using both the HPX500 and HVX200. We’ve been shooting at 30p and I did log and transfer on FCP and the footage from the HPX500 was fine. The footage from the HVX however, was slowed down significantly and also looked as if some frames have been dropped. I know how to fix the raw files in the log and transfer window by right clicking and de-selecting the pull down, but I need to know how to fix the choppy footage from the quicktime movie files. Shot in 720/30p with a frame rate of 30 in cineD. They play fine off the camera and the log and transfer window. Also, can any explain why this happened in the first place?

It wasn’t shot 30pN. To remedy this, go in to your log and transfer preferences in the L&T window and turn OFF the option to remove duplicate frames/advanced pulldown. Then reimport.
