can i record video to an sdhc card on my hpx-170?
Hello,
I am in the market to purchase a new p2 card for my hpx-170, however, I noticed the SDHC cards go upto 64GB. Can I purchase the SDHC card instead and record to it? Is the hpx-170 capable of doing so? Is it advisable to do so? It sure is cheaper than the E-series P2 card!!! Please let me know ASAP. -

No worries. Get the biggest P2 card you can afford.

Not just a no but a heck no… P2 is the only kind of media that will work in a P2 slot. Unlike say SxS there is zero media wiggle room there. (and I mean that as a matter of info not as a negative).

In the SD slot, not the P2 slot 🙂
That’s funny Noah…the hpx-170 has an SD slot above the 2 p2 slots.
