  Troubleshooting Dust?

  Out trusty HVX200 during 3 years has shot miles of clips to P2 without fault. And now the first problem, a piece of dust INSIDE the lens somehow.

  I know the best next step would be to contact an authorized service vendor, but on the off chance there is anything I can try first, what would it be?

  I’d send it in for a thorough cleaning- just because there’s one piece of dust you can actually see doesn’t mean there isn’t more hiding in there. 3 years is a good long run with zero downtime anyway so it’s a good excuse for maintenance.
