  How can I see which firmware is installed on my HVX?

  Hello there,

  I just bought a used HVX200E and I am about to buy a 64GB A-Series Card for it. I need to find out which version of the firmware is installed on the camera to determine whether I need to do an update….

  I went through the whole menu but couldn’t find any clue to which version is installed. Do you know what the implications would be if I would reinstall a the latest version, if it’s already on the camera?

  When you download the latest firmware, there are instructions to check the version already on there.
