  A noob with major issues..PLEASE HELP

  So I decided to rent the HVX 200 for a project that begins tomorrow. I love the camera, but I have one bad problem..I cannot find a program that will transfer audio that can be listened to and edited (Windows 32 bit Vista). The whole point of renting this camera was because I thought that I would be able to edit on the road because there are time constraints to the project. Does anyone know if there is a program that will merge video footage seamlessly with audio footage. If not, a program that will convert the MVX extension audio to something…WAV, Mp3, FLAC…anything. I hope that one of you who knows will lend me a helping hand because I am exhausted…been working on this for about 4 hours now. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

  Well, you are talking about editing…then use the editing application to do this. Avid, Adobe Premiere, Vegas all edit P2 footage. Why do you need another application for this?
