  HVX200 Firewire out problem

  Hello,

  I’m having a problem with my HVX200’s firewire out port, in that it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m having problems both with using it to capture DV tapes into Final Cut Pro as well as using it as the output device to my FireStore external drive.

  Is this something that I might be able to fix with a reset or by re-installing firmware? I’ve never dealt with this kind of issue so I don’t know if I can fix it myself or if I need to send it out for repair.
