Ok, we have been using Sony Cameras and Equipment for the past few donkey years already. Now, it’s time to enter to the whole new world of HD footage. I thought of getting the Panasonic P2 AG-HPX172EN Cameras, because of it’s Solid State availability, and for other minor reasons.

But what I’m worried is that, would the Sony Anycast AWS-G500 accept HD feed from the Panasonic P2 cameras? I mean, as long as we can monitor each camera connected to the Anycast. But the point is that would it be able to read the feed? Do take note that our Sony Anycas isn’t the ‘AWS-G500HD’ version.

Secondly, can anyone recommend a good Solid State HD camera for a budget no more than 5000USD-55000USD per camera?

The Anycast will accept a video input signal from any video camera.

The HPX170 is right in your price range.
