  HVX200 Format error with 32GB R Series Card

  We followed the steps and updated the firmware on our HVX200 camera from 1.03-00-0.00 to 4.10-00-0.00.

  The update was successful, and I removed the SD card. When I put a 4GB card in it reads it. When a 16GB or 32 GB R series card goes in, it says, ‘Format error’.

  I tried the steps over again – again the update was successful, but I got the same errors.

  Any one else come across the same thing??

  I suppose you have turned the camera on and off and verified it has the new firmware?

  Do this by entering the thumbnail mode and the hit menu > property > system info
