back focus on HVX-200
Posted by Arthur Lunn on June 16, 2009 at 5:19 amIs there a way to correct the back focus on the HVX-200 without having to get it serviced?

June 16, 2009 at 1:29 pmAs it’s a fixed lens, I don’t think so. You are having back focus issues?

June 16, 2009 at 6:46 pmyes it’s out of alignment, it’s way off. I know on some models you can close the focus then manually zoom back and readjust the focus ring. Is there no way to do this with the HVX-200?

June 17, 2009 at 12:02 amI honestly don’t know. Call Panasonic and see what they say. I have never seen or heard of that problem before.

June 25, 2009 at 8:20 pmI sent mine back to Panasonic under warranty not long after I got my HVX200 because I could swear the back focus was out. It came back saying it was fine and looked just the same and it was then that I realised that I was too used to using higher end viewfinders and that this one is just comparitively soft. The pictures were fine. Maybe this is the same for you.
