Hi, i have some clips from p2 card that seems to be corrupted. I copied the card to the hd and i don’t have the card anymore. I can view and import the clips, but they have this digital colored noise all along. It looks a little like old tvs when they went out of air. Is there something i can do to repair this clip? Can someone help?

    That’s not it.

The footage has colored dots on them? Those dots might be on the footage for good. That is typically a sign of dirt in the card or on one of the connectors. ONe of the dozens of connections wasn’t made, so part of the image isn’t complete. I have seen this before. All you need to do is clean the card and the connector with canned air.

Unfortunately the corruption is permanently on the footage.

Tanks for the quick responses. And Shane got it. This is exactly what the problem seems to be. I’ll be recording it again, after cleaning the connectors.
i’ve used this forum before, but this was the first time i made a question, and i was happy to see the answers in such short notice.
    Thanks again!
