  • Decoding P2 video shot at DVCpro50

    Hi,
I shot aboy an hoor of video using the DVCpro50 format.

My new Vista machine fails to see-it, even though P2 Viewer sees it on the same Vista machine. My older 32bit Dell always sees the P2 video (DVCpro50).

I am editing using Vegas and have the newest Ultra P2 plugin.

Anyone know how to decode P2 media shot at DVCpro50 ? I ask as there are lots of wasy to decode HD P2 medias but not so with the lessor DVCpro50. Matrox used to offer a 32bit DVCpro50 decoder but now it is all HD or nothing as far as P2 goes. My AVID decodes th elatter but it (AVID) won’t work on my new Vista.

    Thanks,

    Patrick

Why not post this in the Sony Vegas forum. You’ll have more folks with experience with that NLE.
