  error in focus

  i have the hvx 200 p. i’ve been shooting in 1080i 24p.

  i use evf and the focus box, zooming in to max, and 2.8 f stop.

  the focus seems very off, after just 3 feet away from the camera.

  i got a bosch laser range finder to verify that my camera focus is not accurate.

  an object that is approx. 20 feet away, the bosch reads as 20 feet away. but the camera may read it as 30 feet away.

  is there an easy fix? or do i send this back to the panasonic service center?

  I’d send it back but make sure you’re calibrating your finder to the lens carefully first.
