  When using a dvcpro harddrive????

  Do you know if the camera needs to be set to p2 or tape or does it not matter. I noticed hitting rec on the harddrive rolles time code but I donr know if its just rec. nothing if the camera is set to thewrong thing.?????

  Are you talking about using a FireStore? The camera should be set on P2 unless you want to shoot in DV25 and have a tape backup. What camera, HVX200?
