HVX-200MC, how to get a the firmware update downloaded?
Hi,
I got the HVX-200MC from a friend of mine. He gave me his cam without P2 cards, so I organized 4 16GB P2 cards (AJ-P2C016RMC).
The software Version of the cam is 2.02-00-0.00. After half day of research I know that I have to update the software coz the HVX is not able to recognize the 16GB P2 cards.
Now my problem is I can’t download the new firmware version.
I already contacted Panasonic directly by mail but they just sent me that link:https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/support/cs/csregistp2m/ep2main/soft/upglist_e.htm
I already been to that link before and when I try to download it just says: There are no documents or No links.
I planed to start shooting already by today.. What can I do?
Hope someone of you knows the answer.

Unfortunately this link is also not working. When I try to download it says the same:
“There are no documents or No Links”
I have a nice HVX-200 with 4 16GB P2 cards here and can’t use it.. What can I do?

Maybe Jan can alert the proper people @ Panasonic as this is obviously a mistake.

I contacted Panasonic and they sent me the new firmware for the HVX200.
First Problem solved. I can shoot now with my 16GB P2 cards.
2nd problem now: I don’t have a P2 card reader, so I connected the camera via FireWire to my Mac but the P2 card is not appearing on my desktop..
I downloaded the P2 driver software but its still not working.
Any ideas?

Yes. Download and search the HVX200 manual and search for “1394 device”
