Activity Forums Panasonic Cameras P2 card option?

    Fuji is making P2 cards, have not seem them available yet, but I haven’t really looked.

    would be nice to see the prices tumble. I was hoping the price would shift and the 64 would be around what the 32s were and the 32s whould have dripped to the 16 level.

    I purchased a Fuji 32 gig a few months ago, It performs no different to the other Pana 32 gigers I have , except it was much cheaper. Now that our Aussie exchange rate with the US dollar has gone through the floor, the Pana cards I see have jumped from $2200AUD to $2800AUD overnight and the 64gig is now quoted at over $4100AUD.
    If I loaded my Five slot P2 cam up today with 64 gig cards, the cards would be worth twice as much as the camera.
    No doubt some clever manufacturer will come up with a more cost effective solution in the future and these prices/products will be a thing of the past.
    Tape cameras look very good by price comparison if budget is an issue.
