There has been some discussion on the DUAL LINK P2 Card Reader for the Macbook Pro. I purchased the reader. Leopard does not need a driver for this card. It does require the latest Panasonic P2 Driver for Mac from this site: https://panasonic.sixbullets.net/

After installing the panasonic driver and restarting the Macbook Pro, it works well. A cost effective way of downloading in the field.

Yes, it is the Duel-Systems DuelAdapter Card. About a hundred bucks.

GOt ya. The Duel Systems has been around for a little while. I thought you might have been talking about a new one called Dual link! 😉

I just want to chime in and agree. It’s well worth the money and you transfer MXF at highest possible speed.

I purchased the Duel Link adapter and I am running Windows Vista. The adapter works fine but when I first inserted my P2 card it prompted for the disk with the driver on it. I put in the disk and the computer said it could’nt locate the driver. I then manually installed the driver but now when I insert the P2 card the computer doesn’t recognize it and nothing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I’m certain you have read the FAQ page here: https://www.duel-systemsadapters.com/support/faq.cfm
Other that the suggestions there, I can’t help as I’m using OS X.

I got it to work. There is an option in the P2 software to either set the drive to internal or external. I set it to internal and the computer found the P2 card.
