  • Difference between HVX-200A and HVX-205A?

Posted by Samah Bennett on November 10, 2008 at 9:30 pm

    Hi,

I just won an HVX-205 A. I’ve shot on the HVX-200 before, but I was told this is the new version of that camera… Is this correct? Can anyone tell me what the essential differences between these two models are?

    Many thanks,
    S

HVX-200A is the USA Model. The 205A is the Japanese Model.

Thanks for your reply. Is there a functional difference the 200 A and the 205 A?

    If so, what is it?

On the 205A, the menus may be in Japanese. Not sure if they will be switchable to English although many Japan market products will let you switch to English.

How did you win such a nice camera and where do you live?
