  16 gig cards and camera

  I have a shoot on Thursday and I am picking up a 16 gig card from a friend on that day for the shoot. I have a 4 gig card that came with the camera that I bought almost 2 years ago now. Will the 16 gig card work fine with the camera as is or will I need to upgrade any firmware on the camera?

  I don;t want to pick up the card on my way to the shoot only to have it not work.

  Yep you will need to update the firmware if it hasn’t already been done. You can find it and a lot of other useful stuff here:
