hvx editing trouble
I’m editing a video that was shot on the panasonic hvx, and was handed a drive with a bunch of footage on it but when i did the log and transfer in fcp6, it appeared to me that there were 3 kinds of clips…regular speed (23.98), slo mo footage, and then some shots came out playing kind of “jumpy” like, with the audio skipping (sorry i don’t know how to better explain it).
So after messing around a bit with the settings in fcp i found out that when i uncheck the “remove advanced pulldown and duplicate frames” box in the log and transfer preferences, the clip looks good, but now it’s at 59.94. did i do something wrong? or should i just accept it this way and cut the video with some clips at 23.98 and some at 59.94.
thanks for your help.
