    I thought that was just for the small rechargable kind (ie AAA, AA, etc.) I was told laptop, and encased batteries were ok?

    Just read again, oh boy…

    It appears that professional camera batteries are targeted. Your “brick” is now considered dangerous! There -HAS- to be some sort of waver we can get, but I haven’t found it yet. The TSA site mentions “special case” in reference to large lithium batts, but doesn’t define the term! I only have a Sony PD-150, but I travel with 2 “baby bricks” as I call them, which probably fall into the restricted category.
    We all need to know more…
