I am having some trouble with Quicktime HD. I recorded a lot of footage using the Panasonic AG-HVX200 and the FS-100 Firestore. Premier Pro 2 wont work with the QUicktime HD file at all and FCP Version 5 will let some of it work but the rest it says needs rendering, however it wont allow me to render it so I am not sure how to get it to work. If anyone has had similar trouble or if you know a solution then pelase let me know. Many thnaks in advance.

If you’re on Windows then you need Raylight Encoder to edit DVCPROHD quicktimes.

MAke sure you are on FCP 5.1 and not 5.0

Use the Log and Transfer window and load footage.

For Premiere, you need CS3 and the latest version will handle P2 natively
