How can it be ?

So they claim on the phone after mentionning that I was recording 😉
Full Panasonic warranty, new Condition, US model.
That it was out of stock but would ship again within 4 weeks.
Reseller ratings include complaints about delays, but it seems that the items were shipped after all as advertised.
CS claims that they are a wholeseller (Wink, wink, we sell so many that we ae able to give you a $3000.00 discount…)
Are there actually HVX 200 knock offs out there ?

Old switch and bait/high pressure sales
You order the camera, they sell you 10 things with it for 10 times the cost and if you disagree they say the camera is out of stock and cancel your order.

Stay away !
This is a Company who sells in Internet through different IP, like Trustedphoto.com, expresscamera.com, geniuscamera.com.
I ordered a Canon Powershot for a very good price, “in stock” in their site. After 6 days I didn’t receive any confirmation e-mail. Called them 3 times. Finally contacted them. They tried to upsell and crossell, saying that the Camera needed special memory card and other LIES like this.
Finally they told me that the camera was supposed to be shipped in 3 days. After 5 days I received an e-mail saying that the camera is sold out…Just a bait.
STAY AWAY !!!!!!!10/10/06 8:15 PM
I ordered from this website because it was the “best” price I could find for the canon powershot S3 IS, but before placing the order I called twice to make sure they had this camera in stock, both times I was told they did have it. I placed my order, and called back to confirm, I asked for the third time if they had the camera in stock, they told me they did, and then the sales rep began offering the accesories for this camera, I insisted that I didn’t need anything but the camera. Since I didn’t buy anything else, two days later I got an email from the shipping department informing that this camera was out of stock, and it would take “several additional weeks” until the backorder was filled. I sent them an email that they never responded, and finally I called to cancel my order. I hope my feedback helps you, this is not a serious company at all! they have a nice website but they are not a trusting one. BEWARE.Emre

September 25, 2007 at 7:11 pmYou would really have to sell a lot of junk to make a living here however.
Notice, those who bought the junk actually seem to have gotten the product.
Even if you bough $1500.00 worth of batteries, you would still be WAY ahead.
I own one of these and have really no intention of buying from these guys. I was really wanting to know if someone had heard of “cheaper” knock off made by Panasonic.

September 25, 2007 at 9:19 pmPanasonic would never manufacture “a cheaper knock off” it would only hurt their sales and reputation. Anyone buying their “cheaper knock off” would expect the same quality as the original one and would badmouth both models. There are “grey market” cameras which are all the same. The US distributer provides certain serial number cameras to all registered resellers in the USA and they all get the Panasonic warranty and there is adaquate profit for the resellers so they can stay in business. Grey market cameras come from other countries where price structure and currency is different. Sometimes people find a country and a way to import these models into their country and sell them cheaper than the bonifide US models. Because the serial numbers are different from the distributer’s batch they will not qualify for warranty service in the US but they are the same cameras. Private companies like Mac will sell a waranty for these cameras.
The camera you are looking at is a hoax like is stated above. That’s priced to the point of ridiclousness.
