So does anybody know how to reset the timecode when in the P2 mode? I am currently in the middle of production (sitting on set) and I am trying to iron out some questions for the post dept. so any help would be freaking awesome. Thanks.

Go into the recording setup menu, choose the TC PRESET option, and press the “TC reset” button inside the LCD panel.

Fantastic. Thanks very much. Sorry for the long delay. Usually I do not leave my post unattended for so long.

This takes so many steps–is there a quicker way to reset the TC?

Often you can just go to Time Code Set and simply push the reset button next to the Time Code/Counter switch. This will reset the timecode to all zeros. Usually after that you will need to press set button to take the new setting.
