  shooting SD to tape and P2 at the same time?

  Is it possible to shoot SD to tape and a P2 card at the same time? If so, how do you set up the HVX-200 to accomplish?

  I’m no expert, but I would say no.

  There is a switch at the back of the camera that set it to P2 or Tape.
  When you change it it sounds like the camera reboots.

  There is no switch for P2+Tape

  You’re right. Can’t shoot to P2 and Tape at the same time.

  — incidentally, my user’s manual (for HVX200 — PAL version of same camera I think) includes a lot of warnings emphasizing that one should always first shut down the camera, and only then switch between P2 and Tape modes. 🙂 — so if you’re hearing a reboot, you’re prob. not shutting down (which is prob. not such a good idea). For what worth.
