  P2 access in Win XP

  I’m an editor, and a client brought in his HVX200 camera to download some footage to edit. My system is Win XP SP2. We tried both 1394 and USB. The computer sees the device, but we can’t see the files on the P2 cards (in explorer). I wasn’t operating the camera at the time, but we tried various modes for file access, etc. The only thing we could do was capture from tape. Frequently the camera would show “disconnected” in the viewfinder. Is there something we are missing to get the P2 cards to show up in Windows?
