480i/24p, 30p…….????Help
Thanks in advance…I’m not shooting on the P2’s yet…. But I have been reading all the 30p post as of late. I was wondering do I import differently into FCP studio…. using the 480i/24, 30p from using the 480i/60i modes???? I can see it is a lil bit more flicker when u go into those modes. Thanks!

30p imports as 29,97 DV NTSC. 24p you would use either that or pulldown removal to get to native 24p depending on your needs.

ok…so set-up stays @ DV-NTSC for the capturing of 480i/30p footy? ok….. But if I use the 480i/24p or 480i/24pa and say I do the footy in 16:9….which set up is for that? Is there a good walk through for the workflow and break down of this? ….. this is new to me….Thanks…ONE

When in 480i/30p should I have the hvx200 in film mode or leave it in video mode?
